Beauty in Brokenness | Week 2 | Renewed Mind Series

God in all his wisdom and creativity, designed us perfectly but He did not fashion us to BE perfect.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NIV

We HOLD on to HOPE

HOLD on to the HOPE of God’s unfailing love.

11 the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Psalm 147:11 NIV

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
Romans 8:35, 37-38 NIV

HOLD on to the HOPE in God’s Word.

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 NIV

HOLD onto the HOPE of others.

17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
Luke 5:17-19 NIV

HOLD on to the HOPE of your story.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 KJV

25 ….whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Proverbs 11:25 NIV

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Romans 5:3-5 NIV

HOLD on to the HOPE of God’s unfailing love.
HOLD on to the HOPE in God’s Word.
HOLD onto the HOPE of others.
HOLD on to the HOPE of your story.

HOLD on to the HOPE of eternity.
