Family Mountain
Father, the darkness increases, but we will not fear. Isaiah 41:13 says that You take us by the right hand and tell us not to be afraid because You will help us. We stand on that promise for our children and youth. As You have said, greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. If you said it, we believe it! Equip us to fight for our young people.
We want to pray for our children to discover their true identity in Christ.
- Pray that young people would come to know that they are loved by God, that He sees them, and that He has a purpose for their lives. Their true identity is as sons or daughters of the Most High, and He invites them into an intimate relationship with Himself through Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 29:11(HCSB) For I know the plans I have for you”- [this is] the Lord’s declaration-“plans for [your] welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
- Pray for our children’s eyes to be open to see the truth and to recognize the lies of the enemy. John 8:44 (HCSB) You are of your father the Devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of liars.
We have Children’s Camp coming up next week, June 5th-9th. We want to pray for our children who will attend and also for every leader that will be serving.
- Pray for an outpouring of His love and power on every child.
- Pray for protection for every child.
- Pray for families to be restored and revived because of what the Lord does at camp this year.
- Pray for a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit on every child and leader.
- Pray for wisdom, compassion, endurance, energy, and good health for every leader.
- Pray for favor with the campground owners.
We want to pray for every state to pass legislation that will protect children before and after birth. We now have 20 states that have passed legislation putting restrictions on abortion and transgender treatments for minors. There are eight states that are currently considering passing similar laws.
We thank the Lord for the following states who have taken a stand to protect the children in the United States of America. Let’s pray that all other states will follow their lead.
Nebraska, Texas, Florida, Missouri, Oklahoma, Montana, North Dakota, Indiana, Idaho, West Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, Iowa, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Dakota, Utah, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas
- Pray for wisdom and boldness for those who write bills and those who will vote on these bills. James 1:5 (HCSB) 5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him.
- Pray that those who are pushing agendas that bring harm to our children will lose their funding and influence in our government.
