Family, Religion, & Education Mountain

We are praying for our young people today. We decree that they are sons and daughters of the Most High God. We believe the Lord is raising up leaders that will usher in a revolution for Jesus that we have not yet seen before. We see this already taking place all around the world.

Acts 2:17 (HCSB) And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

  • We are asking for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our children, our youth, and our young adults.
  • Pray for “Joshua’s” to arise among our children.
  • The Lord is always recorded as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because He is a generational God. Pray for a locking of arms between the younger and older generations.

Isaiah 54:13 (NKJV)  All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.

Matthew 19:13-15 (HCSB) 13 Then children were brought to Him so He might put His hands on them and pray. But the disciples rebuked them. 14 Then Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to Me, because the kingdom of heaven is made up of people like this.”

  • Pray that our children will be rooted in the Word of God, that they will have a love and hunger for Truth.
  • Father, we thank You for teaching our children! We thank You that You are giving our children great peace.
  • Pray that our children will not become confused in any manner but will walk in the peace of God concerning their identity all the days of their life.
  • Lord, we’re asking that you build bridges between our churches and our schools, that our education system will once again honor You and Your principles.

Governor DeSantis recently passed new legislation that will require people to use the bathroom that lines up with their sex assigned at birth. The new law, which goes into effect July 1, applies to the use of restrooms at public and private schools, as well as “public buildings” such as airports, state and local government buildings, prisons and jails.

Proverbs 29:2 (HCSB) When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, people groan.

  • Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers on these issues. Thank you for our governor who continues to take a stand against “woke” agendas that keep bullying their way into our school systems.
  • Pray that laws will continue to be written and passed that will protect children in our schools and in public arenas, all over America.

Did you know it is legal for public school students to study the Bible, learn its life applications, and develop a walk with Christ – during the school day?

“Released Time” is legal and constitutional when three things are in place:

  1. Instruction takes place off school grounds;
  2. Students’ attendance is voluntary and with parental permission; and
  3. No state or federal resources (taxpayer funds) are used. Released Time is privately funded – by churches, community organizations, and/or individuals.

This law was passed in 1914 and has met with a few court cases over the years. In 1952 our U.S. Supreme Court, in Zorach v. Clauson, upheld the school’s cooperation with the Released Time program. Currently there are at least 1,000 programs in 32 states with over 350,000 students participating. Let’s pray that these programs become viral all over America.
2 Thessalonians 3:1 (HCSB) Finally, pray for us, brothers, that the Lord’s message may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you,

  • We pray that the discovery and use of the Release Time law will spread across the nation and result in a great revival among public school students.
  • Pray for leaders to arise that will be able to build such programs here in Hillsborough County and throughout the state of Florida.
