Beauty for Ashes ~ A Thankful Heart
3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” ~ Isaiah 61:3 NKJV

Ashes are: the things we walk through
Problem : the reason we do not have the beautiful life He designed for us is because we never gave him our ashes.
Turn your ashes over to God

Thankfulness – Keeps us from complaining.

Thankfulness – Keeps us from worrying.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV
Thankfulness – Multiplies “Not Enough”
11 Jesus then took the loaves, and having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated; likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted. ~ John 6:11 NASB1995
Thankfulness – Keeps us from from tainting the raw materials that God uses to build beautiful things.
