Wednesday Night Prayer | August 27th, 2025 | Family Mountain

This sphere of society includes all families, people who work as counselors, ministers, social workers, educators, government officials that write, approve, and carry out laws that affect the family unit, and those in any aspect of culture that deals with family life.

Father, just as Joshua declared in Joshua 24:15, we also declare that our families will serve You and You alone.

We are asking for freedom to come to every family that is a part of this church. We pray for complete healing and restoration to sweep through this House.

Lord, we ask that in 2025 there will be greater healings in our families than ever before!


1st Prayer Point: Pray for parents and children to have healthy, healed, and Christ centered relationships.

Lord, we ask that you bring restoration to our families. We ask that you expose, correct, and remove the things that are keeping us divided.

Malachi 4:6 (HCSB) And he will turn the hearts of fathers to [their] children and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse.

Pray that our fathers and mothers will be careful not to stir up anger in their children but lovingly, wisely, and patiently train them in the ways of the Lord.

Proverbs 22:6 (ESV) Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Ephesians 6:4 (HCSB) Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Hebrews 12:11 (ESV) For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Pray that our parents will create an atmosphere of joy that celebrates obedience in their homes, and children will desire to obey and honor their parents because they know obedience pleases God.

Colossians 3:20 (HCSB) Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing in the Lord.

Ephesians 6:1-3 (HCSB) Children, obey your parents in the Lord, because this is right. 2 Honor your father and mother -which is the first commandment with a promise- 3 that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life in the land.

Pray for relationships between parents and adult children to be restored.

Colossians 3: 12-15 (HCSB) Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, 13 accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so also you must [forgive]. 14 Above all, [put on] love-the perfect bond of unity. 15 And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful.

Pray for our single parents to be encouraged and full of wisdom. Lord, we ask that you restore hope to any that are dealing with hopelessness. Philippians 4:6-7 (HCSB) Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Pray for any extended family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) who are raising a family member’s child to be encouraged. Pray for them to have the wisdom, support, and the resources they need to parent well.
Pray for our foster parents. Lord, refresh them with a fresh anointing to continue in this ministry. We ask that you give them wisdom, understanding, resources, and favor.

Proverbs 11:25 (MSG) The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV) Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

2nd Prayer Point: Pray for the marriages at The Crossing.

1Corinthians 13: 4-8 (MSG) Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, 5 Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others 6 Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, 7 Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. 8 Love never dies.

Pray that husbands will love their wives as Christ loves the church.

Pray that husbands will love their wives as their own bodies, nurturing and caring for her and that husbands will cling to the wife of their youth Ephesians 5: 25-33 (HCSB) Husbands, love your wives, just as also Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 to make her holy, cleansing her in the washing of water by the word. 27 He did this to present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and blameless. 28 In the same way, husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hates his own flesh, but provides and cares for it, just as Christ does for the church, 30 since we are members of His body. 31 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. 32 This mystery is profound, but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 To sum up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself,

Pray that wives will respect, honor, and mutually submit to their husbands

Ephesians 5: 22 and 33(HCSB) Wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord… 33 To sum up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.

Pray for broken marriages to be restored. Pray against the spirit of divorce.

Mark 10: 7-9 (NKJV) For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh’; sothen they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NKJV) Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.

Proverbs 24:29 (MSG) Don’t say to anyone, “I’ll get back at you for what you did to me. I’ll make you pay for what you did!”

Pray for families that have gone through divorce, that there will be inner healing for everyone involved and that joy and love will return to them.

Psalms 34: 17-18 (MSG) Is anyone crying for help? God is listening, ready to rescue you. 18 If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.

Psalms 31:7-8 (NKJV) I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, For You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities, 8 And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

1Peter 5:9-11 (MSG) Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. 10 The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ – eternal and glorious plans they are! – will have you put together and on your feet for good. 11 He gets the last word; yes, he does.

3rd Prayer Point: Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are living in singleness right now (widowed, divorced, or never been married).

Lord let their eyes be fixed on you and their hearts be encouraged. Help them not to grow weary by waiting for your perfect timing.
Father, we ask that you surround them with Godly men and women that will support them and walk with them on this journey.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NKJV) Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NKJV) Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.

2 Corinthians 6:14 (NKJV) Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

We pray that they will be led by you Holy Spirit as you bring their spouse into their life.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Father, give them the strength and desire to live a life of purity.

Psalms 119: 9 (NIV) How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.

Pray for those who have lost their spouse to be comforted and for the peace of God to guard their hearts.

Psalms 34:18 (HCSB) The Lord is near the brokenhearted; He saves those crushed in spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:4 (HCSB) He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Luke 6:21 (HCSB) …Blessed are you who weep now, because you will laugh.

We bind up spirits of rejection and abandonment and command them to go. And we replace them with the Spirit of adoption, with God’s love, and the Spirit of Truth.

Romans 8:15 (HCSB) For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!”

Ephesians 3: 17-19 (NIV) so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

4th Prayer Point: Pray for spiritual renewal to come to our families and for prodigal children to be saved.

Spiritual Renewing;

Pray for the presence of God and His love to fill our homes.
Pray that families will begin to seek the Lord together, that we will have intimate times with Him together in our homes.
Pray for freedom and healing from a spirit of rejection within our families.

Romans 8:14-17 (HCSB) All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons. 15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, 17 and if children, also heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Prodigal children:

Lord, forgive our unbelief.  Forgive the times we’ve doubted that you could ever change a distant heart.  Forgive our hard-heartedness, our weariness, or forgetfulness to “pray continually.” Nothing is impossible for you Lord!

Mark 10:27 (HCSB) Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God.”

Lord, we ask that every prodigal son or daughter come back to you now in Jesus’ name. Help us Lord to love them into Your Kingdom.
We are praying that every person whose name has been placed in our salvation box will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Lord we are asking that you give them a heart to know you.

Luke 15:24 (HCSB) because this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.

Jeremiah 24:7 (HCSB) I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord. They will be My people, and I will be their God because they will return to Me with all their heart.
