Wednesday Night Prayer | July 9th, 2025 | Family Mountain
The family is the foundation of society—created by God to care for, protect, and guide us. This includes families themselves, and also people like counselors, pastors, social workers, teachers, and government leaders who shape laws and culture that affect family life.
Now more than ever, families need revival. Strong families build strong communities, churches, and nations. When families are healthy, they influence every part of society for the better.
We are taking back the next generation. For too long, our children have listened to the wrong voices. It’s time for us to show them God’s way and leave a lasting, godly example.
1st Prayer Point: Pray that our children of all ages will walk in their true identity in Christ. We declare that they will not be easily persuaded by the world into believing anything other than who God says they are in His Word.
1 Peter 2:9 (HCSB) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Psalms 139: 13-14 (HCSB) For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know [this] very well.
1 Corinthians 3: 8-9 (HCSB) Now the one who plants and the one who waters are equal, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s co-workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.
- Pray that in their search for identity, they will come to know that they are Your masterpiece in Christ Jesus, created to do good works that You have prepared in advance for them to do.
- Lord, help each young person see themself as You see them, Your co-worker. Pray that each young person will understand that they were uniquely created for a purpose that only they can fulfill. Lord, help them see that the strengths they have were given to them for a divine reason. We believe they can impact this world in incredibly powerful ways for Jesus.

Lord, help them see that the strengths they have were given to them for a divine reason. We believe they can impact this world in incredibly powerful ways for Jesus.
- On behalf of our youth, we bind up and destroy every speculation and lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of Christ and we take captive the thoughts that try to pervert the identity of each child to the obedience of Christ.
2nd Prayer Point: Pray for our upcoming Invade Conference (July 28th, 29th, & 30th)
- Pray that our students and every person serving at Invade this year will experience the Lord in a fresh new way. We are asking for an outpouring of Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8 (HCSB) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
- We pray that every one of our students will be baptized in the power of Holy Spirit during the conference. We decree Luke 3:16, our young people will be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire. They will invade the Tampa Bay region with power.
- Pray that our students will overflow with hope into their schools and our communities by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 (HCSB) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Pray that our students will operate in all of His spiritual gifts so that they can impact our communities with power.
1 Corinthians 12: 4-10 (HCSB) Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different ministries, but the same Lord. And there are different activities, but the same God is active in everyone and everything. A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person to produce what is beneficial: to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of languages, to another, interpretation of languages.
- Lord, we declare Psalms 91 over our teenagers and every leader that will be here ministering for this conference
3rd Prayer Point: Pray for revival to come to our families. God always provides a fresh start when we surrender to Him. He is our Redeemer!
Joel 2:28 ( HCSB) “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”
Psalm 80:19 (HCSB) Restore us, LORD God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
- Pray for the presence of God and His love to fill our homes.
- Pray that families will begin to seek the Lord together, that we will have intimate times with Him together in our homes.
- We have small opportunities every day to make eternal impacts. Help us Lord to commit to being more intentional with the time you have given us.
Deuteronomy 6:4-12 (HCSB) “Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. “When the Lord your God brings you into the land He swore to your fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that He would give you-a [land with] large and beautiful cities that you did not build, houses full of every good thing that you did not fill [them with], wells dug that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant-and when you eat and are satisfied, be careful not to forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery.
- There was an awakening that took place in the hearts of those connected to The Crossing Church on June 29th. There was an awakening to the time we have with our families.
We are declaring that:
We plant seeds every day along the way. We are intentional about making an impression on the hearts of our family members. We are tearing down the altars to other gods that we have erected in our families. We are creating altars for the Lord with our families. One year from now our families will be different and because of this, one year from now our church will also be different!
4th Prayer Point: We want to replace a spirit of rejection and abandonment with the Spirit of adoption, with God’s love. A major influence on this mountain is the spirit of rejection. The lies that the enemy wants us to believe are like these: “I am not truly loved, I don’t really belong, and I’m the only one who really looks out for me.” The enemy wants us to believe that we have been forgotten or abandoned by God. Unfortunately, perceived rejection can be just as damaging as actual rejection.
Romans 8:15 (HCSB) For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!”
- Lord, we release those who have wronged us or caused us pain (intentionally and unintentionally). We choose to forgive them and release them of any debt, in Jesus’ name.
Colossians 3:13 (HCSB) Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
- Pray for freedom and healing from a spirit of rejection within our own life and those within our family. We bind the spirit of rejection and command it to leave, in Jesus’ name!
Romans 8:14-17 (HCSB) All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
- We ask for freedom to come to every family that is a part of this church. We pray for complete healing and restoration to sweep through this House.
- Lord, we ask that in 2025 there will be healing in families here at The Crossing Church and all across America
