Who’s Table Are You Eating From? | Week 1 | Cares of the World Series

We have been trained by systems that enslave us to a lesser kingdom.

and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

I John 4:3-4 NKJV

God gave us a spirit of adoption:

  1. Brought us into a new family which will reshape the way we live and love each other.
  2. Grow in maturity and actively bring the Kingdom of God to bear in the areas where we have influence.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

Romans 8:15-17 NKJV

But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.

Malachi 3:2-3 NKJV

  • He begins to cleanse us so that we can handle the weight of His glory shining through us.
